Now in it's 18th year, and pulling in the likes of Charlize Theron, Meryl Streep and Michelle Williams, the BAFTA LA Tea Party is held just before the Golden Globes at the swanky Four Seasons hotel.

It's not the regular champagne-fuelled showbiz bash though; it's a daytime tea party (hence the name!) where an array of Golden Globe nominees sip Earl Grey and nibble on finger sandwiches and scones with jam and cream.

South African actress Charlize Theron heads up the all-star guest list, looking delightfully summery in January. She\'s up for the Best Actress award at the Globes for her role in Young Adult.

Girl-of-the-moment Chloe Moretz has been a regular face at the pre-awards parties, showing the older stars how a teenager can rock the red carpet. The 14-year-old actress starred in Martin Scorsese\'s Hugo, which is up for Best Drama award at the Golden G

The woman who portrayed Margaret Thatcher in the critically acclaimed The Iron Lady, Meryl Streep, looks relaxed and elegant at the BAFTA party. She\'s up against Charlize in the Best Actress category at the Globes.

Our very own Benedict Cumberbatch, star of hit show Sherlock, brings some British class to proceedings. Well, it is a tea party!

My Week With Marilyn star Michelle Williams couldn\'t look more different to the iconic actress she portrayed in the biopic.

Feeling coy, Evan Rachel Wood? The stunning actress starred in The Ides Of March alongside George Clooney and Ryan Gosling. The movie is nominated for Best Film

War Horse actor Jeremy Irvine signs the showbiz equivalent of a guest book as he enters the Four Seasons for the party.

Birmingham-born Hysteria star Felicity Jones is really raising her profile this awards season, attending nearly every party going. She doesn\'t look tired though - we\'d love to know how she does it!

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is also raising his Hollywood profile - he starred in blockbuster movie Thor and has several movies coming up soon, including Snow White And The Huntsman and The Avengers. And with a face like that, we don\'t mind if he be

He\'s up for Best Actor at the Globes (for his role in My Week With Marilyn) so it\'s no wonder Kenneth Branagh is looking pretty pleased with himself here with wife Lindsay.

Sir Ben Kingsley starred alongside Chloe Moretz in Scorsese\'s Hugo.

It\'s a family affair! The BAFTA LA Tea Party is probably one of the only LA parties worth taking your family to and British actor Andy Serkis (Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit, The Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes) did just that.
